Keep those Units Warm!
As residents will be
visiting friends and family during the upcoming Holidays - please
take note of the following reminder:
Residents need to keep
the temperature set to at least 65 degrees. This will help your
pipes from freezing and bursting which can cause
flooding.
If you turn off the heat
and this occurs you could be held responsible for damages from
flooding, etc - these are very expensive, so just set your
temperature to 65 degrees to avoid any
problems.
PROVO CITY
"CRIME
PREVENTION MESSAGE"
Our top five City-wide crimes are:
Most of these crimes are crimes of opportunity, and a little extra time to secure our properties and valuables, can prevent us from becoming victims of these crimes: Always lock bicycles up, or store them in a secure location. Secure your vehicles - do not leave valuables on display, or anywhere within your vehicle. Always lock your home, even when you remain inside the house. Remember to check your home for good exterior lighting, and perhaps consider landscaping that is not burglar-friendly, such as prickly bushes, open planned yard areas, lower fences to increase visibility from passers-by and neighbors. Do not leave Christmas gifts out on display in both vehicles and your home. Consider setting up a neighborhood watch program in your street/block. Report any suspicious activity to Police Dispatch as soon as it is witnessed or discovered.
